Abstract
Thymic function in healthy and diseased individuals has received considerable
attention over the years, but until recently only indirect estimates
of thymic output could be obtained. Thymic function has been
measured with computed tomography scans of thymic volume and/or
phenotyping of naive T cells in the circulation.
