Abstract
The aryllithium compound Li2[C6H3CH2N(Me)CH2CH2NMe22 2,6]Br, which has been characterized by an X-ray crystallographic determination and by NMR spectroscopy, was obtained from the reaction of [C6H3Br(CH2N(Me)CH2CH2NMe2)2-2,6] with 2 equivalents of nBuLi.
