Abstract

File: schlieren1.mpg : The video shows a dynamic color schlieren recording of 20 s non-contact Nd:YAG laser irradiation, as described in Chapter 2, Figure 3B. File: schlieren2.mpg : The video shows dynamic color schlieren recordings of 2 s Nd:YAG laser irradiation, displaying the different temperature distributions inside the schlieren gel of non-contact laser irradiation versus laser vaporization, as described in Chapter 2, Figure 5 and 6. The bright light during laser vaporization of gel can be considered an artifact of the used technique.
