Abstract
Background: Colorectal peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) is commonly treated with cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). There is an ongoing international debate about which intraperitoneal chemotherapeutic agent is preferred, Mitomycin C (MMC) or oxaliplatin.
