Abstract
SUMMARY: Jan van den Bosch, an Antwerp schoolmaster, (ca. 1553-1599), is the author of a treatise on arithmetic, published in Antwerp in 1596, which has hitherto not yet come to light. Of this work an edition in French was republished in Antwerp in 1624.
