Abstract

SUMMARY: In 1960 we have published a bibliographical list of the sixteenth-century arithmetics printed in the Netherlands. Now, at this time, this list can be supplied with some new titles. Also some supplementary remarks can be given on the books we have described already in our list mentioned before. A most valuable source for titles of old Dutch arithmetics is an auction-catalogue of Is. le Long (Amsterdam, 1744). The indication «sixteenth-century» is no more correct for the oldest arithmetic we could trace is printed in 1499.
