Abstract
Ebb mega-ripples on a sandy shoal in the Westerschelde
estuary (SW-Netherlands) were studied in crossseCtion.
The internal structure is dominated by large scale
ebb-directed cross-stratification of a particular type showing flood induced erosional and/or depositional modifications.
