Abstract

Participants in the project ‘Entrepreneurship in your own future’ in Utrecht go through a process of empowerment. This entails that they learn to position themselves within society and find connections with others in society. This creates an informal community from which they can shape their lives as they want, this demonstrates that their agency is enhanced. Agency, as such, is a multi-direction quality that is performed by involving oneself in action.
