Abstract
Heavy quarks are particularly good probes to study the properties of hot QCD matter (especially transport properties). Energy loss of heavy quarks in the medium is larger than expected. pp data are important baseline measurements. NLO processes (like gluon splitting) become important: accessible by “charm content in jets” measurements.
