Verschillen tussen netwerkgezinnen en bestandsgezinnen in de pleegzorg

Abstract

In this study we examined the similarities and differences between foster care and kinship foster care. Questionnaries have been filled out by kinship foster parents, foster parents and social workers. The argument that kinship foster care have advantages over foster care could not be established. Measures of social workers and foster parents indicate no statistical significant differences between both types of families. The findings are discussed for practice and future research.
