Abstract
The physical and barrier properties of the phospholipids phosphatidylglycerol and lysylphosphatidylglycerol were studied in membrane model systems. Packing in monolayers at the air-water interface showed a larger area per molecule for lysylphosphatidylglycerol than for phosphatidylglycerol.
