Abstract
Amygdales in fault-generated pseudotachylytes from the Outer Hebrides Thrust, Scotland, and the Ikertôq Shear Belt, West Greenland, contain mineral assemblages dominated by K-spar + sphene + epidote + quartz and carbonates respectively.
