Abstract
1. 1. The incorporation of acetate-1-C14 into the emulsifiers (fatty acylsarcosyltaurines) occurring in the gastric juice of the crab Cancer pagurus L. was studied. The isotope was incorporated into the fatty acid and sarcosine constituents of the emulsifier, not into the taurine part.
