Abstract

In the title compound, [Zn(C9H12NS)2], the ZnII center is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment in a bidentate fashion by anionic thiolate S and neutral amino N atoms of two 2-[(dimethylamino)methyl]benzenethiolate ligands. All the molecules are in the form. The chosen crystal can thus be considered enantiomerically pure. Intermolecular C-H...π contacts connect the molecules into a two-dimensional network.
